She's Fifty-five
In her prime
In all these years
She's done her time

Known great pain
Given sweet joy
She knows a man
From a boy

Learned from life
She'll give pleasure
The strength of her love
Is her golden treasure

So know you men
What you pass by
For beauty is found
With the souls eye

Thanks Steph!

Surprising what a person will come up with in the shower!

This could be about so many women but certainly holds true for one I know well.  I really enjoyed the message sent in this poem a lot.

Thanks Sharon!

I'm sure you know whom it's for, but you're right, it can apply to many beautiful souls here, Even one who went to Woodstock!

Too often someone judges us on a preconceived notion of what age is all about. Just because someone is older (not old) doesn't mean they don't have the same thoughts, feelings and desires. I personally feel like I'm about 17!!

I'm not writting anything for a 17 year old! I don't want the jail time!

Thanks ~K~ !

It all came from the heart and the shower, since I'm not much of a singer, I do some of my best thinking in there!...Alright!,Knock  off the laughing!

yeahhhhh, I read that earlier remark about the shower and I was just going to behave myself and keep my comments to myself!  But it appears that's where you do some of your best work...   tee hee ~K~

Maybe I can sell an instructional video on my shower techniques?
