Three AM, and the quiet deceives. A new snowfall covers the ground, softening the sounds of many marching feet as they make their way down the hills of war stepping in time with the past, lifting eyes to the skies in prayer they may be victorous. Noontime prayers, Allah is good. But all is not good ‘neath hot desert sun. No one won though one shouted “Victory!” “Cover the Earth” she said, as she kneeled supplicating suffocating from the stench of wasted lives spilled endlessly over her loving face. Mother Earth prays for a healing shower to cover the Earth and wash away mankind's madness. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (11-23-2003 10:08 AM).] |

Hello Jes! thank you for your reply. Yes, and a side benefit to your suggested method of ending war? maybe Earth would have a small enough population to sustain LIFE. |

Powerful write, touching deeply. Mother Earth knows better ... may we awaken to the awareness that humanity must grow out of this madness, indeed. Love, Margherita |
