Star Touched The sky turns from grey to velvet black revealing diamond brilliance flashing My gaze is drawn to mystical lights pulling me into a dream of sorts I soar to the past where love resides leaving physical body behind Over mountains, rivers, oceans I fly seeking the one whose soul touches mine He must be a man who is star touched that we may travel the magic road Our future opens a secret door into a world visited by few A place where fairies, wizards and gnomes play in green forests for miles around Where we’d run through rolling surf and sand while mermaid songs serenade the night We’d breath deeply the fresh ocean air and embrace as our passions enflame Such love will weave a world of its own only for star touched lovers to find Karen Mc Neil Jan. 2, 2004 |
