I knew you before the light of day rose upon a frosted morn, as the dew rose into clouded wisps. Before you walked upon my road toward our sun, silently setting into a evening’s calm. The flow of you, sensually alluring. Ever drifting, as sands sift the fingers of trace....and lace reveals rosette cheeks. The palm awaits our shadows joined as dates ripen and touch the moistness of lips....lips that lightly ply the tick of time from the flowing glass of our hour.... As I thirst... Passionate crests force the ebb against the bowing reed. My sigh awaits the echo of your gasp...my fingers delve the water pure above the pebble smooth...my toes linger the swirling flow of dreams... As I hunger... Come... Lie upon the dunes as a comet’s tail chases solar winds....and catch the lonely star in lover’s fall... As I smile... Well, Barry, I was going to quote my favorite parts...but after I reread this romantic treasure, (more than a few times, I might add) I realized I would have to quote darn near the entire poem. So, what's a girl to do? I know! Go back for another read, that's what I'm going to do... Patricia |

this is exquisite, through and through, but these two lines are voluminous!!!: lips that lightly ply the tick of time from the flowing glass of our hour.... If you weren't so far away and likely married well, I think you might have captured me most gently in your spell Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
