Instant Win I watch the dial stuck on one Begging it to edge…begging it to roll The lottery knocked at my locked door So I let it in the window My fortune raped me and left I watched the dust settle where the luck once stood The dial clicked to two I celebrated and fell in love again But my eyes dripped and cried “Three…won’t you be my three…” Been rejected five-hundred and five times Please don’t make it a six The score doesn’t add up My dice, my hand, they’re always broken One dial for my life, one dial for my dreams I stare into the cards for hours In the mirror I see a Queen But you’ll only let me be the Joker Oh those games you play Of course I’ll always adore them Still the only things that matter Are as far from me As your heart is from caving But the dials moving to three |

just thought i'd explain the dial thing because it confuses a lot of people. I have a friend I really like and we've done stuff together twice. So now I'm just waiting on number 3. There you are. |
