Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2003-12-30 08:48 PM

Now I lay me down to sleep
A pot of Darjeeling on to steep
I think about the year gone by
The times I'd won and failed and tried
Happy times, and those forelorn
The music played, and internet porn
(Did I say that? It can't be true
You know I don't need that to view)
I see the girls that I have known
Where love's returned or not shown
All my friends both close and near
Show them, Lord, I hold them dear
And as I stare and look ahead
Please keep those dreams I have well fed
Remember those, Father, in Your care
Where Your love lies, please show them there
We have enough to be concerned
With all the lessons we have learned
That maybe we don't stop and see
Just where in life we need to be
So, I ask You just once more
Help me to know what we're here for
To love and help along the way
Until we find the Judgement Day
And when we stand before You then
Treat me as my life has been
I'll do what I can to earn my place
And spend forever in Your Grace
Amen

Cause in my dreams it's always there
The evil face that twists my mind
And brings me to despair.

Might we turn the prayer back on you?
All of these things will be realized,
for you have the Will to do so.

Happy New Year, Ringo!

(smiles) Now that, that's a prayer! (big angel hugs) God Bless You, dearest friend, I too look up to Him in every instance and will continue to pray that we can all hold sovereignty to Him and fear nothing but His grace, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bradly, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
