No sweet love was again inspired by a picture which let a pregnant young girl to find herself renting a room with a gay guy, some 30 years ago. Rita Tushingham played the girl. A lot of this is to do with images. Poets faced several problems. The first is always that they should have: Suffered the pangs of which they are writing - [edited by Moderator] fill your own words in. Every poet is short of currency - own words there That you can not write without understanding the world and it's impact. My attempt to prove them right: I will walk with you If I can reach you I can not see you But can I reach you They wait on my left Green beneath Yes I will reach you But why can I not see you I will sing to you Of my love On your heart's beat A turtledove Will move my enemies From my sight But no sweet love Can I see tonight I wait for dark The guitar and harp To hide myself I am no lark Around my heart I bear your hair For my courage To seek you there Now I seek you And your family's house They are outside And you my spouse Take my ring I take yours Go fly you say That is your choice Pushed up to the attic there Why should I leave Why leave you there To find my love At last my life Who cares of heaven above A smile comes onto your face Fool to seek death's embrace I didn’t call you here To waste your life on someone's fear Take my hand As I take your ring Now as Eagles We will sing |
