Message Written, painted, chiseled in stone They stand above dissolving bone Thoughts that stay a longer day Impressed upon the path of way Filigree of wayward dust The outward of the bread, the crust Stand in islands of discover Sentiments of loves recover And so it dapples in the green Mounds of memory to be seen Placements of a lover’s vent A cry in rust a castle spent But longer still that stays the air And breathed by children of next year Is the prima fascia goal? That stays within the life of soul For history stays within the air Re breathed in essence by its share. |
