Inspired by Tom Traubert's Blues by Tom Waits

I am using someone else's inspiration for this but I almost felt I was there.

My raincoat is soaking wet
The girl wears a flimsy dress
Her light shines to me life
Her light is red
I know there's a bed
A taxi would take me there
I love her to distraction
I squandered my money
How can you lend me a buck
How can I afford her
I go to the hall
And the one arm bandit looks
I put in a dollar
it pays me five dollars
But the chinamen smiles and he knows
I go to the striptease
And offer the girls
The few dollars that I know
I watch them retreat
And swivel the beat
And no waltzing matilda for me

Thanks.

Honesty matters I suppose.
