Therapeutic ramblings
In overcrowded mind
Analyze
The vastness
Of nothing and everything
Blind

Thoughts of a gut feeling
Or the resin from the past?
Paranoia or probability?
Maybe the die was already cast

How much carries forward?
How much is lost in the translation?
How much…
Is lost
In temptation

Acceptance with a skeptic’s eye
Hoping for a lack of lie
Lay down with those familiar
Lay down a heart that hopes
Not to die

"if you won't let me fall for you
then you won't see the best that I would love to do for you"
~Dido~

Not sure...but it seems that we are pondering...quite a bit in fact....as our
mind swirls around the question mark
planted firmly in the center of our forehead!

Great job Susan....

UM.....methinks you have a valid point or three here, Susan. Sometimes though, I've enjoyed a short term lie.
But in the long run, we all hope for more, don't we?

Good luck with the resolution of the question asked here.  Temptation, for sure, is the big one.  I would say, go with the gut feeling.......REALLY LIKED THE POEM! .........lol.......jo

Thank you all!

This really isn't as deep as you might think...its about the paranoia that can carry over from the past and possibly taint the future...

nodding...all those "imprints" from the past tainting the "now".

and yep, it's kind of hard to avoid, huh?

Happy New Year, Susan.

I've read this over a few times, and it's all so good!

I liked what you said in your reply,
about paranoia carrying over.

Yea,  that too!

Happy New Year, Susan~

Happy New Year, Susan...I am doing a bit of those
"Therapeutic ramblings" myself.
