An abundance of blooms Of baby pink and white Reach up to the sky To catch the most light They climb around the pillar Like a snake around a tree Their beauty brings much joy For those who come to see Blooms come bursting forth They seem to float upon the air 'tho my words try to paint a picture There's nothing like being there A fragrance oh so heavenly Greets my upturned nose All my efforts are rewarded As I admire my climbing rose * * * "Friendship is the finest rose, in the garden of life" |

I love the affiliation and the similarities through the comparison, very beautiful and well done. |

Sue: A lovely poem and reminds me it is spring where you are. We just got 4 inches of new snow last night! I have some lovely climbers too, but will have to enjoy yours for now! Love, Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |

Hi Sue .... Hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas and blessings for a New Year filled with love, joy and peace. This is a beautiful poem to match the beauty of your roses and life. I would love to see a picture of the blooms. Huggles, Marti |
