Deep down there is space Where never will face The light of knowing Who is down there At what do they stare Some piece may surface Some feelings may spout Deep down there is something I know nothing about Or is that me rationalizing Me running for what I know Running so hard with everything in tow Deep down this are things Things others may see Things offered in poem Things I hasten to flee Deep down is something Something been made from actions And experiences that often caused pain Are we who we are with or without all that deep I long for the knowledge of all that I keep But maybe the hidden can only emerge From deep within shadows That only others have heard Sometimes there is concern When I write something that borders On all of that deepness That others have heard So how do I share it How do I dig deep Sometimes it is written Sometime I must keep |
