You are the answer to my prayer
Your very being says you care
My love is yours to hold and keep
It’ll keep you warm when nights you sleep

Show me the light give me a sign
That I’ve the right to call you mine
What once was pure so very right
Within my arms I held each night

I long to breathe your heavenly scent
Until the day my life is spent
To feel you close and hold you tight
And taste your love with all my might

I need no life without your love
A gift once granted from above
I need you so within my life
As lover, friend or even wife

Be mine my love my one desire
Come fill my lonely world with fire
Come fill my heart with love that’s true
The purest love that comes from you.
