Nestled high in the cotton snow hills, lay a town,
that's surronded by pine cones for trees looking down,
past the skiers on slopes, schussing endlessly still,
at the center of town, you can see the old mill,
and the mirrored glass pond, where the skaters are froze
in their miniature ways, and their period clothes.
Where the deer at the shore show no fear as they stand
in complete harmony in a small wonderland.
Down the broken glass stream, past the falls, 'neath the bridge, on your left are more houses spread out on the ridge.
Looking close, you can see that they're all occupied, for their lights are all on and some children who slide through the cotton white snow,
without moving a foot, in this fantasy land stay right where they were put.
There's a colored glass road that connects all of this,
tiny cars, horse drawn sleighs( in which lovers might kiss).
As it winds it's way down off the hill from afar, there are three wise men there, being led by a star,
to a manger where lay a small child who they say
gives us reason to celibrate on Christmas day.
Yet, there's something still missing from this Christmas scene... and we search 'neath the tree with an eyesight that's keen for Saint Nick
and his sleigh with eight tiny reindeer,
found at last where they've been all along, never fear, soaring high over all, tied with string to the tree."Merry Christmas to all's!" what he said, I agree.
