 Picture by Alan Ayers * * * Time moves by so quickly You've been gone for so long But my love never falters It remains so very strong My heartlight remains dim Since the day you died Sometimes grief consumes me And I feel hollow deep inside Christmas time should be happy This I know to be true But not one day goes by When I'm not missing you I see you every day In pictures around my home I expose my deepest feelings Through the words of a poem I search the sky at night And I spy the brightest star I take comfort in the knowledge In heaven is where you are * * * "We sat together for what seemed like hours.Our hearts were so finely tuned to one another that we felt no need to speak" I am in motion I am blue Love is an ocean I'm anchored in you - Shawn Mullins [This message has been edited by Suetang (12-24-2003 03:48 PM).] |

Thank you all for your wonderful replies. Nancy - You are right, this was written about my father. Christmas has never been the same since he died but my writing gives me so much comfort and I feel I would be so lost without it, it is such a big part of me now. Take care.......Sue I am in motion |
