A Break In Spirit Here I am feeling happy today. The season spreading its joy to me and one phone call, that's all it took to take it all away, you see... "Too much of a risk", is what they said "no operation can she go through." Will have to live to die is all that anybody can now do. My Christmas wishes won't come true... I have changed them more than a time or two From now on my wish is to be time spent enjoying her company. M, Sorry to hear this additional pain coming your way. I understand. I've shouldered the burden of such decisions. I would not recommend it as a life event that one needs to go through. On the other hand, it is said that one can not live fully until one excepts death fully. I hope you can be of comfort to her, and others to you in this. e |

I am sorry...I guess I am feeling a bit helpless and hopeless today after her phone call. And I will drive down tomorrow and spend it with her when she will tell me all that was said to her by the doctors...which must have been bad if she couldn't tell me on the phone. I will try to stay away from here so as not to ruin the holiday happiness this season brings... thank you for your kind words Lori, Amy (hugs back to you) and to you Kraw. This isn't even the hard part...that is yet to come. M |
