Summer's Morn Hair splayed across the pillow Most in my mouth Bus rumbling by Noise of the morning Dont want to wake you Dont want to leave Know It's time to go That look in your eyes A kind of crimson mess Swirling the world Beneath your feet To match your dress To avoid defeat To force retreat Catching the world Matching your hair Spinning summer all you dared For loving deep in your embrace Of sky and eternity’s great race To tomorrow’s immaturity And grace |

Hey Dave I can't believe that I am the only one to leave a comment on this lovely piece of writing. It is nice to see a fine English writer grace out pages of powder blue. I hope you don't freeze over Christmas. It is going to be 31 degrees celcius here in Melbourne, Australia! All the best to you and yours. Take care........Sue I am in motion |
