-Dedicated to Jenny- I sat alone Atop my mountain of loneliness Pondering my life away I was awake yet not living Preferring the solitude Above anything else Yet so suddenly An angel appeared Before my weary eyes I tried to reach her To see if she was not A lonely heart's dream She noticed me And my heart was filled With such pure joy We talked till the end Of Old Father Time himself We did not even care Still I can't reach her Yet I am at peace For I know that she is real For that angels love I will wait forever In the end we'll be together -End- ->Be thy angels? Nay We are just men!<- |
