Said you love somebody else, after all these years. You expect me to walk away and not shed any tears. How can you walk out on me after all we’ve been through. Guess it was to much to ask, For your heart to be true. And I… Should have seen it coming, Should have felt the pain. Should have seen the storm, should have felt the rain. Should have ran for cover, when my world began to fall. But I couldn’t have stopped from losing it all.. I watch silently as you drive away with him. In my heart I feel the world closing in. I try to keep from crying, the tears I cannot hold. All I’m really hoping for is that I don’t lose control. And I… Should have seen it coming, Should have felt the pain. Should have seen the storm, should have felt the rain. Should have ran for cover, when my world began to fall. But I couldn’t have stopped from losing it all. The sweetest rose is one you'll die for... |

I read this almost lyrically, and then hummed this actually. I sure see this as a song, but it was a nice write of an all too often scenario. |
