this was inspired by my favorite Christmas
song "My Grown Up Christmas List"

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas to you all
I have a very special message to share
Wishing for you all love and peace
That you all have family and loved ones there

You all are so special
I see the light in you each and every-day
So I'd like to say Merry Christmas and to thank you
For helping this girl to find her way

I know the holidays are difficult for some
So for those of you, I send a warm smile
Pull it deep inside your heart and soul
Allow it to linger there for a while

For those of you already happy
I hope that you share that happiness with another
There are so many sad and lonely
Allow them to see they have a sister and a brother

So for my poetry family I wish you joy
You all mean so much to me
Heaven surely knows you all are Angels
So let's keep giving the gift of love, unselfishly

To my Mom, high in heaven blue
Merry Christmas! I love you
