Its kind of and dark insight I'm alive and looking for purpose, direction, something to live for The brighter thoughts and dire happieness I can see this ocean or a spring A fountain of trust leaning on the rocks of judgement Is it really water or maybe more Deep blue neon light breaking current Solid flow This place I'm in has hidden and obvious truth I can see what is so apparent now The distant voices of melody and a stern rattling crackle The pounding of percussion and a bass line tune This place is so hidden and yet so apparent In the midst of the garden and an orchard The tree of life, tall and unseen, the center of this place The center core of this spot on no map Just a smudge of ink, flat and level My surroundings are digitized and surreal Yet I'm here and have found this denied Direction follow the path Cuts and wounds, bleeding me A present and unacceptance of what has become of me Closed will remain closed until opened. |

"This place is so hidden and yet so apparent" One of my favorite topics of ponder...I did enjoy this much, m'friend. I am curious about some of your word choices, tho---are some missing? and the last line particularly fueled my imagination, leading me to thoughts of personal responsibility regarding paradise. All in all, a nice think piece, g.i.s. Enjoyed the read. Happy holidays. |
