You watched her float on strawberry clouds a tempest storm never held her long she was blowing in and out of the wind- in and out of your dreams. You held her briefly in you arms but she couldn't stay still butterflies cannot be caged unless they fly on broken wings and hers remain slightly tattered. To forget her you would have to forget all the smiles the hugs, kisses, the laughs everytime she said hello and those times she said goodbye to forget her you would have to forget yourself. You wonder how she lost her luster, her sparkle, her shine she was beautiful because you loved her and you loved her because she was beautfiul to you. You lost your heart when you pushed her away thought you could forget and erase every memory of her but they were a piece of you she was embedded into you. To forget her you would have to forget all the tears the screams, the cries, the sobs evertime she said I love you and the times she said I hate you to forget her you would have to forget everything. |

Well written. It is true that to forget somebody you must forget everything associated with them. In the process you for get about alot of yourself. If it is any consolation I'll never forget about you or this beautifully written piece. ~Ryan |
