Long forgotten ‘neath the dust discarded wood Once silenced in the ashes of sorrow’s Pompeii Hibernated, sleep now melts away The recall of affection blooms And shivers in the glistening first dew Droplets fall upon my lips As I look up into full blue pools Traveling the slaloms of my emotions In ski upon the satin slopes Catching my attention in their trickle Traveling throughout Awakening me A radiance to wear Covered only in your stare Wrapped in only you You find the vastness frightening Moving closer, holding back And yet, you linger here with me As we tangle into molten waterfalls Blending needs and desires Into love showers that bathe us in recall To never leave the stirring of your breath upon my lips Close…closer…each turn and shift engaged Exploring every secret place Every pleasured trace thermal runs rivers And near you in the shivers I am lit again Copyright Kkh 12/16/03 |

though love poems are my least favorite of all styles, I found myself mesmerized by your exquisite use of imagery. Excellent! |
