Forever In Your Heart

Slowly as I walk into the ocean, the waves crash over me,
My spirit, my body, my love, all will be set free,
When the sun sets on the sea, I hope you will remember me,
Little fish and mermaid fair, long black silken hair,
The sun will continue to shine, poets will write poetry with rhyme,
My memory will forever live in your heart, Tears flow from eyes, a soul torn apart,
Know my heart will forever love you, always see me in your eyes so blue,
Remember me....remember me...
my last breath.....breathed only for you..
(This poem is written about the death of a poets muse, and when the death of writing comes, you feel dead inside and can longer write)
True poets don't write with the ink of quill or pen, but with the ink of their heart~

Yes, this is a feeling that I think all writers feel at one time or another. You wrote of it well. Happy Holidays,
