we were standing there freezing and i was the only one smiling they told me not to smile but i loved them so and i was a part of something better than me by far bigger than me too but still, a part of me we were parts for each other and it gave me people who told me not to smile but the second the flash went off they all laughed and hugged each other like they were smiling too it slipped out we all felt it the camera caught me happy the only time it has ever captured the real me was when i wasn't supposed to smile joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless... |

I like this poem a lot, it speaks of depths beneath the surface. One thing that caught me up was the total lack of punctuation, but meybe that's just part of your style. Great poem! |
