Repetitious of Old I've twisted and wrung out my thoughts, gone the old. Reviving my senses, those passions that burn. Resistance, a bruising turned healing in hold. My fate in the hands, yet unknown, waiting turn. Reviving my senses, those passions that burn. Yet emptiness fills, behind, leaves its spell. My fate in the hands, yet unknown, waiting turn. A play, 'twas all, when I stage tripped and fell. As emptiness fills, behind leaves its spell. With hidden now gone, no more wishes fulfilled. A play, 'twas all, when I stage tripped and fell. Picture perfect, not I, in these moments distilled. With hidden now gone, no more wishes fulfilled. Been captured and held far too long in this hold Picture perfect, not I, in these moments distilled. I am twisted, wrung out, unfulfilled, gone the old. Guarded, this heart, second chanced, lost in time. Floating colors of hope, another day writ in rhyme. As I wander my sleeping, faceless you seem In the darkness of shadows, you were but a dream... M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." (Will Moss) [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (12-14-2003 07:48 AM).] |
