What's love got to do with it?

the air in random breaths
taking away my senses
to a distant time, thought brushing
against the blame of me
as I fall against the chill,
body reaching out in places
needing the wicked of you.

the resistance so softspoken
that the silence fills the inbetween
of a rainy day and my soul empties
against the memories, the numbers lost on me,
as the mirror shines youthful
and the strands of hair remember your touch
and eyes, eyes that penetrate the riddle of want
learning to know how my seasons change.

I value what was, what is and what is yet to be,
unraveling the mysteries and the quiet peace
that comes with you and your maybes...

Well done nakdthoughts. What's love got to do with it? Nothing and everything! I like this verse a lot. It shows your need to question...and yet lifts you above that need too. This is really a great piece.
