~*~ You are one in a million a strange kind of magic in truth,that sheds the brightest light and I, a careless act of consequence. I should have known better my love cannot pretend. No one has ever come that close or gave me reason to believe, taking me back to when. Kept safely under your spell come my secret heart pull me in a little closer so I will never be tempted again. Light my fire with a snap of your fingers swallowing the flames, share the dark side of my dreams and let me spin. Mesmerize me with your waving wand and hold my gaze in awe. ~*~ |

Bluesy, this poem is quite possibly, the best one of yours yet! “I should have known better my love cannot pretend. No one has ever come that close or gave me reason to believe, taking me back to when.” When or if that special time ever comes, it would be nice, if we could know better... Being such a devoted lover of the blues I've always loved your handle, "Blues Serenade" Too cool. This is nicely written and runs in depth with the inner images you're portraying.
