Shade

there is a piece of me
that I took out today
placed it carefully
out of reach so far away
until I know it is safe
to bring it back out again
and when will that be
I don’t know when

Slick
Perhaps the piece of you that you "took out today" and "placed out of reach" Is a piece of your heart?

If so, then you have answered your own question.

You have brought it "back out again" for all to see in the words of this poem.

enjoyed the read.....ice/ford

Please....let me know how you did that. I'd like to be able to accomplish that feat myself, from time to time, but I can't quite manage it.
