His hair stirs with the touch of his breath
Tender lips lie slightly ajar
Watching while images pass through his head
I still daydream of the dreams of my love
The pillow he cradles in a childlike way
Innocence shone through
I want to capture his sleep
Hold it, keep it
Retain his perfection, that boy that i see
He feels my gaze
'love' he says 'come lie with me'
Nestling his face he breathes in my scent
Taking into his slumber the fragrance of each strand of my hair
Entranced by his lullaby
The beat of his heart sings me sweetly to rest
I whisper good night to the moon and await the sun
And pray that the dreams of two will become one
