+*+*+ Champagne bubbles, tickle my nose, they also make me giggle. Whenever I drink, two glasses or more, my hips sway and wiggle. I'm often told, that I can't hold, my beer, or wine or liquor. I get giddy or sad, or happy or mad, and my speech becomes much thicker. So, I must abstain, from drinking again, I will never be a boozer. Hi-Q! I got tipsy once in my life--and that was enough for me! It was like self-induced flu! I hadn't eaten all day and then I had 4 drinks over the course of an evening. Man was I sick! Now I may have only a total of 6 glasses of alcohol a year! I actually prefer ice water!--and that hydrates my complexion--instead of dehydrating it! lol Cheers! EA |

I've never seen a 'pretty' or 'dainty' or 'handsome' drunk. Feeling all soft and loose inside doesn't always translate to the outside, and in fact, its quite the opposite. If we could all have a motion picture of our antics when intoxicated, I think we would rethink! Great poem. ~ becky /f |

Susan ~ Oh, isn't it just the worst?!? I was sick for 2 whole days not long after I became of age to drink--on 4 drinks on an empty stomach! I'll never revisit an experience like that again! "libationally challenged" too funny.. One time I had 23 rum and cokes, fell face first in a parking lot, attacked some guy then the next morning my roommate tells me milk will help...yes..it helped me run for the bathroom right in the middle of morning muster in uniform.... it's all very sad really... |
