~You Say I Should Be Understanding~

You say I should have been understanding.
Understanding what? You'd never say anything.
Reading minds, is not my kind.
See I don't sing songs I don't know the words to.
But even though you don't believe, and Lord knows why?
I would have made the lyrics, prayed for an angel voice
and then sang them all for you.

But I never had a chance. Well maybe once I did
But in my frailties of being human
I guess I didn't put my feelings right
or maybe I picked the wrong display.
The display though was picked by God, and conception
My hair, my nose, my years of being too old, Or
Maybe it was I didn't know all the right words to say.
But one thing there is, I do know, is hearts, and emotions
are not something to play.
I wish, even if you never saw these words
Even if I traveled the darkest chasms of the Universe
Where you could never see me, or hear me.
I wish I could take back all the words I had to say.
But please someday see it this way,
I'm human, and flesh, it is all we humans be.
God is so much more able to say it all
All I can be is me.

Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer!

Terri,

This one tore at my heart. We all fall short of His glory because we are human.  You cannot take back words once said..."Jury disregard" is a misnomer. But you cannot be responsible for how people will react either.  All you can do is choose your words in wisdom and love...and then it leave it in His hands.

A great write, my friend.
I do know and feel your pain tonight.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Shara, my heart goes out to you, dearest friend, only He is perfect and He has a plan for us all, and it is up to us to be as responsible and respectful as we can, for what's done is done and He will do all He can to fuel our conscience and find how those words we say that aren't quite pleasant can be compromised! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I send angel hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Shara, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thank you to both of you...

Kaoru-- Thank you, I am glad you liked. That means alot coming from you since you are one of my faves to read.

littlewings-- hehe, me, too, but what I mean is I can't sing songs for the other if I don't know the words they want to hear, or the words that would comfort. On the radio songs I just hum through the parts I don't know, or I make them up and feel like a goofball if someone hears, but no biggie, hehehe

Love,
Terri~

Terri, when I read poems where someone pours
their heart out the way you have done here, I honestly don't know what to say. All I know is that I don't want to say anything at all that might add to the hurt you are already feeling. I could feel your pain in this poem, my friend.
  and   to you,
Ethel
