For my Mommy Muys

She died
your sister
at ninety three

You lost her
long ago
you said

when she stopped recognizing you

and yet
it hurts
loosing her again

for good this time

And when we stand at her grave
I will remember her
the way she was
when I was young

You will remember the smile
you saw on her face
few days ago
as if she knew
it was you
who kissed her goodbye

Titia, please let your mother know
that I understand the loss, and know
her pain, and that she should not grieve
for something that was lost, so very long
ago...

I know she will...but she needs to be strong...
for you, and for us.

Please give her our love.

Titia - Give Muys a giant Passionate hug please... Let her grieve as she will... Her sister was her lifelong companion, whether she knew her in the end or not. She'll surely bring Muys the strength to handle her passing... along with your support, of course. I/We love you both - and will be with you in spirit as you bid your cherished aunt farewell...

Titia darling heart sister, please give Muys a big hug from me, as always your writing touches me. I think of you and my face wears a smile, and I see you dancing around the pool, you are an amazing poet, but more than that you are a fabulous friend.

My thoughts are with you, mommy Muys. I know at that age one says "Well, she had a good, long life" but it's always sad when that life ends, regardlesso of the age. My sympathies are with you, kind lady, in this sad time....
