I will name all dark leaves enriching perfume whispering
As I fall on my knees transfixed with questions
The reflex stroking my chin as displacements
Where nothing is casual or alone
Or at times even seems real
The obvious and otherwise, might be an interaction
My right hand extends…
None the less, I’ll work on it
Since every moment gives hands to my mind.
When the light is hobbling,
I’ll continue to work on that book
Which has yet to be published and somehow never gets done
That book, you know….
The one I’ve carried around in my pocket
For the past 4 years.It has grown to be a part of me now
Reminding me how a particular old friend was
A splash of morning sun on winter’s cold ice

an interesting mix of images and thoughts....though I struggled to tie the title into what the words said to me...
