I Witnessed Fairyland -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was written for a challenge at The Meadow poetry board , there was a picture of a fairy on a toadstool , we had to include the words , curiosity , visions, crouching ,magical , garden, scented, believe , rise, =========================================== I Witnessed Fairyland Was the garden magical I was about to find out Always full of curiosity Although still in doubt Would I believe the tales What others had seen Those visions of fairies So gentle and serene I am told to tip toe quietly Amongst the bluebells To the toadstools of red The fairy family dwells Crouching in front of me Right before my eyes A fairy upon a toadstool Slowly began to rise Gossamer wings spread She playfully danced Magical and enchanting I stood there entranced Scented jasmine blooms Floated through the air The fairy family gathered Each with golden hair For all the folklore written I began to understand Fairies circled around me I witnessed fairyland Hope©2003 |

  (smiles) Yay! Oh Hope, I too witnessed their special land, and I got proof, awwwwwww, look at this sweet fairy child napping! (kiss on cheek) I love Mutington's Meadow and have long posted there too, and every now and hen I post under the name Shakira Siempre there, God Bless You, I'll go check this out too, yay, we all love you so much!
