Air where the bloom was; Showers where the turf was; clouds like cotton wool, streams full darkening skies where the Kestrel was. No amber for your crown; No heat within your gown, beneath the bramble, your spectre, where your countenance was. Melancholy gales, where your utterance was; Grief, so much grief where my heart was; you ever with me, your eyes ever with me; silence where hope was. Have you seen jack-in -the green he taps his cain on the ground and signals the snowdrops it's time to grow. |

Jack I enjoyed this poem, are you sad? it was beautifully descriptive and powerful. Don't be sad, life is full of so much beauty and love. ~ARH |

this was an astoundingly beautiful read...very deep feelings and yes, sad, and yet somehow there are many visions of hope refecting in your words. Beautifully bittersweet and emotional. Wishing you a better day today, and may goodness and light touch your heart, soul and mind. Love to you and yours. |
