We lay beneath the palms
On this balmy Summer's day
In a hammock made for two
You and I gently sway

I look deep into your eyes
As you move your lips to mine
In the quiet of the evening
How brilliantly love shines

The sun begins to set
A golden orb up in the sky
We feel so close to heaven
As we watch the world go by

The waves are gently lapping
At the edge of the shore
Your love is like a hidden treasure
There is so much yet to explore

The seagulls skim the water
As the moon comes into view
And as the light of day is fading
I profess my love for you

* * *

"A loving heart carries with it,
under every parallel of latitude,
the warmth and light of the tropics"

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you
