Written, sealed gently, a tear welling an eye.
A moment of solemn remembrance, a time
when...
A grown man cries...

Each moment, movement, each minute,
each memory...
Her eggs....easy over, toast crisp, bacon...
The same as his...Her coffee...blonde sans sugar,
her lips....lusciously red, glistening.

Her shoulders, patted dry ever delicately as
a kiss lingered around a pirouette.  Her legs,
longing to be traced, as she stood delicately
upon tiny toes...

Her voice, the freshness of Autumn’s air
touching his ears...bringing a smile.   Her
eyes, soulful, searching, taunting...
captivating....as only she could...

Glistening, that one soft salt filled tear,
falling onto a memory, sealed passionately
inside an envelope...lying quietly within
a chest with....a poem,   her first from him, a
single lock of hair, a picture of a
mother to be...a   ribbon once tied...
To a tree...  on a cross... now tied to
her wedding band...

A grown man cries...

you came to me on silver wings of light
I flew away with you in painted sky
Was it real

a single lock of hair, a mother to be.......

words forming a picture, of sorrow past, but
still very much part of everyday life, that you are able to bring alive here

Bernie,

I have not had the opportunity to be at Passions for quite a while. Then I visit tonight and have just read this wonderful poem. You have such a beautiful way of drawing each poetic line into pictures for all to view in our minds. This was a very beautiful walk down memory lane.

If I could stop the tears I would be able to convey my words...silly me not paying attention to hanky alert.  Thank you for reminding my heart it is okay to cry and letting me remember why I love Passions so much...

in my 34 years, I've only seen one man cry, one tear streaming, but I'll remember it for a lifetime...

a bittersweet write that gave me a lump in my throat

Magnus...

I've been crying all morning...but, this is so poignant and sweet that it has actually dried my tears. You are in my heart and my thoughts.

Thank you...jc

This...is perfection, a blessing for anyone who reads it. Do think of submitting it to Passions, so the world can see it more easily.
