My life is a myriad of colors Ever changing hues A never ending rainbow Of reds and purple-blues Honey tones crawl accross My bright and vivid days Splashed with purple daisies And marmalade nosegays As dusk settles And crimson flows over the land Blood red and hues of orange Prepare to make their stand But burgundy gives way To shades of my indigo nights Deep dark chasms bring out Explosions milky white Light litters the sky A stark but welcome change But not enough to save the dark Light without a range Dark makes way for grey Complacent smoky hues My life is a myriad of colors Light from different views |

This is gorgeous. I love descriptive poetry, and this is among the best. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
