(Jesus swept the tabernacle floor late on the eve of morn And though I know that Hell is hot, I never pictured heaven quite so cold…) There were slushed recollections of snow angels And distant fears of something like tonight. I am Seeing coal black hearts In frozen skin All the beauty swept in slushes. Now a fire burns inside the living room And blankets scattered Cannot keep me warm inside As I watch my snowman Melt away. - And so it was that time stood still - (blink, breathe, stand, fight) [This message has been edited by GG (11-20-2003 06:12 AM).] |

Alyssa, I'm sending hearthugs...lots of them! Maybe you'll be a little warmer. |

Dixie, thanks for 'em, always needed and loved! It just snowed all day here in WA and now I'm here home alone for the night.. just makes a person reminisce.. in the most melancholy of ways it seems ..ah and I'm talkative! Love ya! Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - (blink, breathe, stand, fight) [This message has been edited by GG (11-20-2003 03:55 AM).] |
