In the early hours of dawn As I awaken from my rest Just as the sun arises That's the time that I like best On this balmy Spring morn With my cup of tea in hand I sit out in my garden And look out across the land I spy a mother blackbird Building a nest in a tree I try and sit real still As she looks cautiously at me My yard slowly comes to life As the birds begin to chatter Sitting here amongst my Eden Nothing else seems to matter Soon I'll start to hear the traffic As I dream my life away Here I'm at one with Mother Nature What a way to start the day I am in motion |

Oh Sue ... I am green with envy. Everything here is brown or dead or gone to sleep for the long and cold winter. How glad I am to be able to enjoy Spring through you. It warms my heart and toes. Hugs and luvs, Marti “Prayer makes the heart large enough until it can contain God’s gift of Himself.” |
