Of Nails and Hooks

Nails and hooks suspend my books
That hangs upon a blue green wall
A rainbow of subjective looks
A gallery of shadows sprawl

Paintings of a finite wit
Reaching out infinity
In paths that seed the palette
Or go in that vicinity.

I turned the windmill of the style
To empathize my moments pause
And found the paths of frown and smile
A path for each that would a cause

And now I stand before the do
And wonder at the symbols prime
Look upon these scenes so few
And tug the beard of father time.

It is a speck a moments touch
A peck in time that isn’t much.

You may think that it's a peck in time that isn't much.  But to many of us here your words and kind comments enlighten and encourage us.  Thank you, Sy.

===============================

You know that last line is gonna get the moth all riled up dont ya?

I do so beg to differ...it is indeed so much more than a peck... your paitings and your rhymes and all your wit and wisdom shared, etch your name in sands of time...and of course cross this mothyheart of mine.

*ww*

When I'm with you my eyes are so wide ...
you reached right in my head and turned on the light inside
turned on the light in my mind.
