Don't they know that it's over? Don't they know that time is through? Why hasn't someone told them, That I've lost the heart of you? Today the sun should not have risen. Everything should be still. But the wind just keeps on blowing, whistling through my sill. Birds just keep on singing. I still see squirrels at play. Someone tell them the world has ended. Tell them there is no today. Why doesn't anyone notice? It's ever so clear to me. Time has so clearly halted. What could the confusion be? I've never felt the way I feel. I've never felt more alone. I feel I don't have the strength to go on, And I want this pain to be known. "The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time" ~James taylor~ |

It does feel that way sometimes, doesn't it? Don't feel you are alone in this. I think everyone has felt this at one time, or another. Sending a hug. Love, Terri~ [This message has been edited by SharaRose (11-16-2003 09:37 AM).] |

Many feelings are impressed in this poem actually got goosebumps all over as i read it. It felt sad though also like a knowing that life is life and does what it wants. I always put a smile in my comments but with this one, i will change it. Crying with a golden tear cause that must have been true love. Jes |
