When did the voices begin?
I asked myself
The madness tasting most
delicious
reminding of chocolate
driving to throes of ecstasy
and beyond

Chaos were you not my lover
in another life
when we fornicated ourselves
sprawled naked
over much whine
and thoughts of Dante under glass

The voices
oh the beautiful voices
how they sing to me
dance
scream
tantalizing with visions
seducing with dream
awaking me in a chaotic state
of mental orgasm

Dance with me sirens of madness
partake of my soul
muse of chaos
lift me from the gravity
of worldly boundary
and the chains of normalcy

Awaken me to the dawn of mad genius
writing random mystic thoughts
late into the midnight hour
spilling the blood of my soul
on parchment
till I am no more human
I am not man
only a poem still being written.

this was a recollection of moments in my life...how perfectly mundane is the maddness of those moments, yet so brilliantly astounding...arise ye souls...partake in the love I create for you...amounst the saddness and pain...those moments are given you to explain my presence...saith the Lord..

Silly?  Perhaps, but thats what this wonderful poem spoke to me, in spite of all the confusion, pain, sorrow, loss.

I'm sorry Brad, but I became lost in your words...reviewing a very special time in my life...thank you for that, and for the brillance of your words.

wonderful trip you take us on, I have been here, the need to write was me, instead of the other way around, I think I have mastered it.....lol...either that or I am just trying to find an excuse for my lack of words of late

(smiles) This too reminded me of Dante's Inferno when he visits Homer, Horace, Ovid and another poet and he ranks himself sixth among them with Virgil, only to later challenge them in rank! (big hugggssssss) They truly are great writers but you too are great because you're true, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Brad, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
