Sometimes, when shadows draw me in, I become but A gaze, sweeping the gray of winter, Remembering that soon red and green Of holidays will appear; After that, the snow may fall, or not, Maybe only rain, but With every step forward, I believe, soon enough, the mallow flower Will bloom again. |
