Rain Candle

It's raining.
The candle
gutters out
but I stay:
I need to feel it.

A little rain
doesn't matter.
This warm place
renders it
irrelevant,
as street lights
leave the candle
obsolete and
therefore necessary
whether it burns on
or withers
in the rain.

Tomorrow is
time enough.
I'll call
you then.

Welcome!
I felt the drizzle,
saw the candle flicker,
tomorrow will be another
gift,
another
opportunity.

(smiles) Yay! I love the rain and believe we all need some of it to make the world glisten a little more brightly and bring life all around! This is a wonderfully vibrant debut, God Bless You, sweet friend, I love this! Welcome to Passions, sweet Kasm, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your wondrous poetry, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kazm, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
