Gust of winds blowing corn like soldiers
       in their rank and files
On guard for autumn harvest machines
       they wait in narrow aisles
before the wind and thunderous quakes
       rooted sentries firmly stand

I know nothing about sijos, though I like reading them. I like the corn soldiers in this one, it made me smile.
