Go with me to the center of the institute Where poetry represents irrelevance Intellectual indulgence Resonant, where culture lives, free speaking alive Its own reflective larger then life structures Thought and expressions Heroic couplets pretentious Echoes putting ideas to action Even calm in the way we argue Claiming voice…rise from trivial tings Happenstances... Where e’er you whisper through streams Embracing romance, past sleep, threading Thoughtful sounds meaningful, like the voice of reason endlessly Familiarity connected into sentimental rhyme Making long fibers of syllables Heads spinning youthful…smothering alarms waking in morning with you by my side Evening wind carries on indefinitely Nothing like holding your hand in mine Surrendering to this relaxed migration In a familiar place, a familiar time Understanding your smile And infinite closeness White circles of silence Engulf, tying a pure endearing knot Angels faces smile with sun filled white caps Like vines engulfing, comforting There is no dust in the air, For we learned so see the sea Along with the mists that rise Periodically.. If I fail you, please forgive me We are twins not listening to mocking birds Strictly experimental, holding on to A variety of definitions, embracing Contemporary literature…. |
