A Sip

I sipped a sip of burgundy
And found myself in wizardry
Passing out with out a pout
And fell right through the cracks of doubt

I woke up in a world of wile
A bloke within a fetching guile
And looked upon the cursory
A world of changing scenery

I stood upon an Isle of sigh
Of things I did and did not cry
Of mischief in a world of plumb
Where I had been my dumbest dumb

And now I had to answer for
The echoes of the open door
And I was not prepared for stirs
No more than Alice was for hers.

I took a rain check of the awe
Said goodbye and closed the door

Morning Sy!  Looks like we are the only ones awake.  Pass the coffee?

(I would have closed my door as well).

Good morning Sy and Susan.   You can have the coffee, but pass me the tea with a couple drops of honey, please.
Enjoyed your write, Si, as always!   How do you keep doing this?????? Have they offered you platnum or gold?

Wow, dear Seymour, that sip was fatal.
I stood upon an isle of sigh
You find some expressions that really are so original.

Make room for me.  I brought my own mug...thought you may be running out of cups and saucers.

Sy...I loved this!  Think I shall go back for another read.

And then there is the late straggler...
looking for the coffee....but,  alas...
the pot is dry...  Perhaps a spot of
tea,  steeping slowly might do?

Good Morning Sy..errrr,  Good Afternoon!

(big hugggsssssss) This is delightful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
