Listening to every heart

0 posted 2003-11-07 01:51 PM

That slip, tug,
float, pull,
release, drift,
now dive, then recoil
to rise of emotions,

like a kite in flight
even on a November noon,
are somewhere within
this Walter Mitty mind,

while anticipation’s euphoric ease,
that sense of Christmas
coming sooner than its yearly promise
of good will
toward men

will soon find me smiling at strangers,
before teasing toes in surf, and sand,
in strangest places only once dreamed
to have roamed,

once,
long ago.

Where ruined nations are but now
a path’s foothold
that one would visit on a foggy morn
for these sights yet to behold
have always been within,
it’s only a matter of stepping there,
again,

for those footprints set in time
were mine, before tomorrow came.

Superbly done KJ,  and I do like the closing
lines very much....your feet fit the slippers
of time well.

(big hugggsssssss) It is partially a matter of steeping there again, and another matter of stepping aside! (smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, perhaps Christmas can come sooner this year, and eventually, everyday, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

True, Karilea. We can go anywhere that we want
to...."it's only a matter of stepping there, again"
I love this, my friends.
